This spring we've been really lucky about getting morels to eat. Travis' family gave us a bunch, he went mushrooming with them and brought home more, he found some under his grandparent's bushes, and we had some growing right outside our back door. Crazy.
YUM! My mouth is watering.ReplyDelete
Wow! Those are huge! I love morels and I love mushroom hunting! We've recently introduced Paul to the idea but he thinks it's kinda strange. My dad would be so jealous you found them by your back door.ReplyDelete
So, have I told you how much I am salivating over your mushrooms? Mushrooms have been a craving for me this pregnancy. Mmmmmm.....ReplyDelete
ive never had mushrooms...i need to try them sometime.....ReplyDelete
Ok, I love mushrooms but these don't look appetizing what so ever... do I need to be from the Midwest to understand?ReplyDelete
Ton, you probably do need to be from the midwest. Does Ben like them?ReplyDelete
Lisa, I had my first kiss with Travis on a mushroom hunting date. Now that says classy. ;)
Yum! So if you have more wild mushrooms, you should try this recipe (or some variant of it): ASPARAGUS AND MOREL BREAD PUDDINGReplyDelete

Yeah Ben said he likes em, guess I'll have to try it next time we're out!ReplyDelete
