Once upon a time there was a wonderful girl named Laura. Laura is smart, athletic, beautiful, exceptionally kind, and had lovely strawberry blonde hair. She is my cousin and held the title for "Favorite Grandchild" until I started having a bunch of babies. (My grandparents like their greats, what can I say?) I think we're tied for first now.
Laura's oldest and best friend is Megan. Megan is also smart, beautiful, and kind, and had very sensible parents who spelled her name the simplest way possible. The two girls grew up together; went to the same church, high school, college (Go EC!); they were the maid of honor in one another's weddings; and then they started a business together.
Their business, Washboard Basics, is centered around something I hate. Laundry. But I love what they've done with it:
|It's so cute!|
Let me tell you what I love about this product:
- one little container will get you about 64 loads of laundry in a regular washing machine.
- it really is easy on super sensitive skin. JF, the King of allergies, eczema, and rashes, doesn't have a single problem with the soap - even the scented ones!
- I've always wanted to make my own laundry detergent but I'm too lazy to actually do it.
- it's cute and so it makes me smile every time I put a load in, which is good because, again, I hate laundry.
And now YOU have a chance (or actually a lot of chances) to win one container of laundry soap - your choice. Really, this stuff is great, and we all do laundry, so get going and start entering!

Would love to give this a try. I am also too lazy to make my own :) Even as many times as I see the Duggers do it!ReplyDelete
You're always one step ahead of me when it comes to music, so I'm sure you already know this song and/or have already used it in a post... but Ben and I love The Head and the Heart, Lost in my Mind.ReplyDelete
I do know the Head and the Heart, I think because my friend Alisha, who is always one step ahead of me. But I agree - they are SO GOOD and I LoVE that song!Delete
This looks like such a cute product and I've never tried homemade laundry detergent before. I'd love to give it a try!ReplyDelete
I have also thought of making my own laundry soap but haven't for fear that my efforts would turn out not as good as store-bought. But that's not a joke.ReplyDelete
Count me in!ReplyDelete
My families super sensitive skin would love this!ReplyDelete
Sometimes I wish I had remembered to check my grammar and spelling before hitting publish :).Delete
Hi! I've always wanted to make my own laundry detergent too, but I am too lazy/too busy to do it. (It depends on the day which is true. lol.)ReplyDelete
Looks like fun to try. Do you know if its safe for cloth diapers?ReplyDelete
Anne, it is safe for cloth diapers!Delete
I'm also in the 'want to make my own detergent but haven't gotten around to it' category.ReplyDelete
Uh, no... I'm rarely a step ahead of you. And I think Paul & Lisa are ahead of us both!ReplyDelete
